I think the report system is broken since last update … so normally when I report ppl it takes months to get that message on hone screen but the past week I’ve been getting it 3 times a login I think the number of reports needed is broke because of that and because after coming off a 2 week silence I was suspended from the whole game without an email being sent to me about 4 days after the silence. I know this isn’t enough time to get a bunch of reports against me and I also know I’m being reported in retaliation 90 percent of the time for suggesting in gc to report my teammates who threaten to throw when I pick widow at start. Ppl retaliate report and even stacks will report me for not playing hero they want. I won’t lie I say dps diff and gg ez but nothing truly vile just gamer lingo and tbag which has been apart of gaming in forever but I don’t believe that warrants account action it’s just lingo and also like I said in 4 days there’s no way I get enough reports given i hardly played in that time frame so i believe the last update or last few have inadvertantly changed number of reports needed? Anyone else have similar story? Also does a false report like stacks reporting a solo q player or even instances where two players report eachother actually get investigated because this is ridiculous that a normal player can get suspended because he tbagged the wrong enemy stack and got reported or because his own team doesnt like the hero choice or doesnt want to swap to what they “think” we need

Thats not bannable offense and as i said i played maybe 10 games even if every team reported me the system should take 100 as stated by blizz so ohysically not possible to accrue that many. The system is broken its taking far fewer i would guess over 80 percent less then it is intended and also bans factor in any report i could be reported for “being black” as people have done because of my voice and im not even black
Blizz Code of Conduct says “Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used.”

I didnt say bad i said overwatch lingo every game ppl say it and overwatch even programmed a text qgen you say gg ez clap and my point stands its not possible physically to accrue enougb reports to trigger that in only 8 or ten matches i have played SEVEN years with no action and suddenly i get 3 in one month???
When you type “ez” or “dps diff” you’re trying to get a reaction from them. Their reaction is to report you.

The gane is over at that point and i specifically asked blizzard if thats reportable and they replied with quotations when i typed “s t fu” to the racial slur

I said it ONE time to someone calling me a N***** do you not comprehend that? Everyone is human and has human response but saying it ONE time is not warrented a suspension ow has stated it takes 100 reports and its not possible to accrue that many in 8 to 10 mayches

It was in a developer update covered by stylosa i seen it in thier defence matrix thibg he covered … suspensions and actions are automatic based on a total of 100 reports being made credible or not credible it is already known that the report system can ve abused by having stacks report players just for not playing good enough the point of my post is i think its broken after recent update or service on gane as it is not ohysically possible to accrue 100 reports in 8 matches i played post silence and its wierd how for 7 years i get hit 3 times in one month when i have done nothing different from 7 years the game has to have a bug and also considering how people are stating they got multiple “thank you for reporting” at login when before id get one of those messages every few months i personnally have gotten like 3 or 4 per login now

It was in a youtube video made by stulosa who is sponsored by ow and attends their meetings one of the nda perssonal he may have been siting a q and a by aaron keller or someone else but he works closely with devs as one of thier biggest content creators

He used the official source in the video the transcript from a developer update or q and a and eother way i havent received an email so im not sure why im suspended anyways. He is not a streamer he is thier content creator who they share information with to reach a broader audience and he only uses transcribed sources from actual interviews he has done or he covers the words are blizzards alone through him getting it to a larger audience

So you expect me to go through possibly hours of different videos to cite for you? Thats tedious and time consuming. I honestly dont care if you believe that statement or not the point is the gane is being abused by the players. I have been told im getting reported for soawn camping enemy mercy ive been told to swap or report people will report for ANY reason and its never credible but because the system is AUTOMATED it happens without any human review. I think i may have been suspended this time as in avout 4 of the 8 matches i played i was accused of ximming and my reply was (lul skill issue) a general term used by damn near the whole player base. I honestly didnt think it was in trouble i always thought those terms were just apart of the overwatch culture as its the only game i see them used so im not sure of thats what it was or if i was automatically suspended for possibly ximming (which i dont i have ps5 pro controller) and i wont know for sure until they finally reply to my appeal with a reason and if applicable text logs to see what warrented it. Like i said never recieved an email like the login screen says was sent explaining reason so currently waiting for an answer to the ticket. Im mot toxic and dont play games to argue with people i honestly believed after 7 years of playing things like tank diff or gg ez were just accepted gaming terms and of theyre not and i get that response to the ticket then i have no problem stopping as it was all said in what i believed to be just gaming culture and for fun however if im suspended for possibly ximming im gonna be really upset
