Perhaps this topic should go in the Competitive discussion, but I leave it here because my point is that thanks to Blizzard implementing the replay feature, I can now confirm when players I think are suspicious are actually cheating by going and examining the replay from their perspective.
Previously, you would have nothing but that fishy feeling and it would engender trash talk or the “he’s hacking!” because you had no way to go and check quietly later.
Yesterday I had a competitive match where I was playing support on WP:G. There was a very fishy player on the their team playing SOLDIER, and then later WIDOW on their attack round (We attacked first).
We did very badly on the first round barely capping A, but this player’s aim was very suspicious within a very short space of time.
I go check the replay after the match, and low and behold, BLATANT aimbot/triggerbot. Even though he’s only using it on and off during engagements, the snaps when he doesn’t know who to target next are absolutely obvious, even to an untrained eye, I assume.
I’ve played FPS games for over 20 years, since Doom2, Rise of the Triad, Half Life, Quake, et cetera, so I’m well versed with spotting hackers.
Anyways, I wanted others to know about this, am interested in any thoughts on cheaters in competitive at such a low ELO (bit concerning in Gold if you ask me), and would appreciate feedback.
Of course, I don’t expect you to take my word for it, so please see for yourself. After watching the replay, I hit the Share button to get a replay code of

Let me know what you think.
