this ability still is super frustrating to play with and against in high ranks, so I guess it is in lower ranks
just replace immortality field by an anti CC field and bapt would still be the most played support and it would be way less frustrating to play against

IF is fine
It’s easily countable if you out more than 2 brain cells into playing against a Bap.
Plus, Bap IF is already a less common sight on the field since his nerf making it even easier to play around.

How do you counter it? Bap is not gonna throw it mindlessly to waste it even if you gonna bait it out. He will wait for you to use your ult then counter d.va or junkrat tire last second saving everyone from their impending doom.
Try to kill him without an ult so he either pops it early or dies? Use one ult to bait it and the other to kill?
It’s a bit better now after last nerf. But I’d give it even less active time. Immortality field should be used with precise timing to save your teammates from fatal damage. Immortality field SHOULD NOT be used as a shield which is placed behind any corner and from where your whole team can shoot at enemy.
Anti-CC field actually sounds amazing. Protection against flanking Roadhog.
No Hammond boops. No Mei freeze. No Reddit Lucio boops into the Ilios well. Instant negation of all CC-based ults.

sure, using an ultimte just to bait a cooldown ability every fights seems fair since a good bapt will never have to use field to counter a flanker in the current meta except for ball

I like this idea a lot! Would make for great team fights.
Your tire is already shot by then probably by bap himself if you gonna wait it out because everyone is out there to shoot it. Those 40 health squishies will get healed very quickly anyway with baps Regenerative Burst + right click and your other healer help.

Just because you lack the ability to use tire properly doesn’t mean a 1k Masters/Diamond Junkrat one trick will also lack the ability.
Those 40 health squishies won’t get healed fast enough to survive my team who is already on top of them because I told them to push

I actually love this idea but blizzard is probably going to use it as an ability for another overtuned tank/support

I can honestly agree with this, Immortality is such a stupid ability even in its nerfed form
It really isnt, esp with all the shields on top of the angles that make it unbreakable
If you have to wait it out, its already done its job. Thats what its meant to do
Try that with double shields against baps who position with a brain
