It has the same functionality as Flashbang but with the excuse to have a much smaller hitbox and in return a longer reach, raising the skill of the shot. Also a Lasso is more cowboy-like than a Flashbang.

Same functionality as Flashbang, it’s just a visual change to fit a balance change that is lowering the size but increasing the range
He should splash a bottle of some whisky instead.

The only problem I have with Flashbang is how fast it comes out and the size of the hitbox. Its so forgiving its braindead.
There is very little counter-play.
Can’t dash/blink/slam past him - you can end up behind McCree with his back turned to you and get stunned by it anyways.
Shields aren’t reliable, can’t absorb or deflect it because of the massive explosion radius.
About the only thing that works is Fortify or bubble, but you still need to pre-empt it.
Its kinda silly that Brig had her stun hitbox gutted but Blizzard has never touched flashbang.
I don’t think Cree is OP or anything, but I find it always such a “sigh and eyeroll” ability every time. Times when I am playing at maximum effort, trying to play around it and McCree just goes “HEHEHE I press E”
Agreed, just think the radius needs to be reduced or something. Just feels cheesy.
I’d just make it so that flashbang is basically a 0.8sec “Hack” effect.
Cancels ults, and blocks ability usages.
Maybe make it so that successfully landing a Flash refreshes his Roll cooldown. So it can be used as a peel.
