I have tried everything to fix the rendering device lost crash and nothing has worked. Here is the crash report for the most recent crash:

This is your audio log and won’t help diagnose an issue with your GPU.

What exact steps did you perform to troubleshoot it?

My bad, I didn’t realize that it wasn’t in the errors folder because there is no error folder. I have reset graphics settings, made sure my GPU isn’t overclocked, reinstalled the game, updated drivers, tried different versions of my drivers, ensured that I am on a stable version of Windows i.e. not in the insider program, lowered graphics settings, made sure the game is running on the proper GPU, changed performance mode on computer, and checked for corrupt files. This is all of the advice that I have seen posted anywhere and none of it has worked sadly.

Here is my DxDiag, First bit of MsInfo, and an excerpt from what I believe to be a related crash report from one time. I would provide the entire MsInfo text but the .txt file is just over 8mb which exceeds the limit for pastebin.

Did you try a clean install of the GPU driver? The DxDiag report only says your Windows has updates you need to install and that Windows is losing communication with the GPU.

The MSInfo is kind of useless without the full report. The error in the second one is just a RAM access error. If you want to upload the txt to Google Drive and provide a public link to it, I’ll grab it. The size is worrisome, it means there are a lot of errors over a long period of time.

Yes there are a lot of errors, many are due to some plugins I use in Reaper to make music and are unrelated to the issue at hand.

Also no I haven’t tried a clean install. I have considered it and have downloaded DDU to do it but was kinda just hoping that there was another solution before that.

I went in order of least difficult to disable/remove to most difficult.

  • NahimicSvc64.exe (remove audio overlay tools)
  • LenovoVantage (bloatware)
  • lva pro service (Lenovo voice)
  • Citrix Workspace (may need an exception, not sure)

Due to the amount of errors from Nahimic and the Xbox widgets, even if they aren’t causing the problem with Overwatch, I personally wouldn’t use them. They are likely slowing down your overall system since there are hundreds of errors from each.

I was having this issue and I think I solved mine. It was my RAM Memory. I just bought some new DDR3 1866Mhz RAM for my PC and I was having really bad crashes, like every game. I kept tweaking my video card and things in BIOS to help solve the issue, but nothing worked.

Then I went back into my BIOS and turned down my RAM speed frequency from 1866Mhz (the max speed) to 1800Mhz. I played 3 games in a row and not one crash! :grinning: I think I finally fixed mine. :sunglasses: :crossed_fingers:
