Oddly enough I can play starfield for hours at a time with no crash, God of War plays poorly and RE villiage sometimes crashes. Halo infinite did good though
Had this happen as well yesterday. No clue why, never had any issues before.
I was just suspended in qp for a crash. On a 6600xt, my gpu’s been running this game for 2 years 
Same issue for me. My PC is high end and less than a week old, the GPU is an Nvidia RTX4070 I updated it an hour before the patch too, so it’s not like the driver wasn’t up to date.
No outdated drivers, no overheating issues, no software conflicts (as there was nothing else running outside of overwatch.) The game has been running perfectly right up until the patch. I crashed out of the first game I played immediately after downloading it.
Something is going on and needs to be looked at, just not on our end.

I spent all day updating drivers, uninstalling old/conflicting software, and re-installing the game (twice) and it is still happening to me.
In fact, it happens now as soon as I try to enter a match. Even custom matches.
