Rendering device lost

I got “rendering device lost” like 4-5 times today, had to rejoin the game over and over again. This resulted in my rank to drop 200 sr in support. I have a razer gaming laptop which is built for gaming, I don’t understand why I’m getting this thing. Because of the rendering device lost I’m now suspended for queuing in for competitive for 10 minutes.

Repeatedly leaving, even due to a crash, can eventually result in a ban for the rest of the Competitive season. These penalties are not reversible. So it’s best to stop queuing for Competitive until you’ve done some troubleshooting on the issue.

Please make sure when you post about a tech issue that you’ve looked over the pinned threads first, and including a DxDiag in your post if your question isn’t answered there.

  1. Press Windows Key + R, then type DxDiag and press Enter.
  2. In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
  3. Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save.
