Rendering device lost.. can't fix this issue

I have this error “rendering device lost, application closing” since I started playing OW2 (2 months ago) . I tried all steps from Blizzard general troubleshooter but nothing works. Now i can play like maybe few hours without crash but I also clear drivers very often because game seems to crash less after new drivers are installed… I also noticed today that Overwatch generated the log after the crash (the same minute) and there is an error with sound in this report . Can someone from tech support take a look at this crash log? thanks in advance < I can share more details later if anything else will be needed.

here is the crash log from c:/documents/overwatch

Howdy Player993xG5,

It looks like Overwatch is trying to use the Intel graphics card which isn’t powerful enough to run the game. It also looks like you are using old Intel graphics drivers from 2020. You could try a clean driver reinstall with the new drivers from Intel from 2023 which may help reduce the crashes:

  1. Download the free third party program Display Driver Uninstaller. On this page, scroll to the bottom where it says Download Locations, and choose the link closest to your location.
  2. Once that’s installed, go ahead and open the program
  3. Select Intel from the drop down box next to ‘Select Graphics Device’ and then click Clean and Restart.
  4. Once it restarts the PC you’ll want to go to download this driver from Intel.
  5. Run the installer and it should automatically install.

If that Intel driver doesn’t work, try using the Intel auto update tool.

hello

I’ve already cleaned all drivers with DDU and running the latest intel driver available. I know this is not great option to use Igpu for Overwatch but I have no stuttering issues and pretty stable 50-70 fps on 720p res (with res scaling) …
today the game still crashes and now it seems even worse because I am able to play maybe an hour or so … temperature is fine (around 60-68C)
Event viewer is “silent”, no any other errors before crash…

But I noticed an error in Dxdiag :
"Windows Error Reporting:
+++ WER0 +++:
Fault bucket 1715151778234323406, type 5
Event Name: RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64

Problem signature:
P1: TiWorker.exe
P2: 10.0.22621.1771
P3: 10.0.22621.2.0.0"

and new stuff from Overwatch Logs:

Ok so my question is:
Is there a possibility that Windows (firewall , defender etc) or corrupted audio driver files cause these issues with rendering device lost?
I mean it looks weird because my potato is very “calm” during the game but something is blocking the driver or I don’t know…

In my experience, these Rendering Device Lost errors are not going to be related to the firewall. It’s probably not due to audio drivers either but you could try disabling sound entirely to test this yourself.

Since the TiWorker.exe is crashing, this likely points to a deeper problem in the computer that is also affecting the game. I would suggest going through the steps listed here which may help.
