I don’t know why you guys are playing it, other than for memes. It was bad for most players when it was meta because of a lack of coordination. Since then, most of its component heroes have been nerfed, and 1-3-2 compositions beat it out of the meta in any case.

Yes but actually no, try running double shield against goats, poor Orisa and Sigma dont stand a chance after all the nerfs, theres a reason why these 2 were only viable as a duo once 222 was introduced
Played last night. Felt like it was QP. I got a good chuckle when enemy team went goats and people on my team cried in chat about it. I didn’t care… It’s OQ, what do you think is going to happen?
Moreover, who cares? You have non-goats mode and goats mode now. That’s actually rad.
Given that there are loads of comments about OQ being full of GOATS, but also loads of comments saying that it’s full of 5 DPS, I think we should call it Schrödinger’s Queue.

I have no idea how GOATS wouldn’t be the dominating comp when Rein’s barrier and D’vas matrix are the only nerfed components and they’ve been barely touched with rebalances and buff to other aspects of their kits. Supports in GOATS are fluid so you can run multiple variations of them in it
Only some DPS are stronger right now than what they were back in, but there’s no way Echo/Genji/Ashe/Cree/Pharah/Tracer are strong enough to even compete with the GOATS comp

It’s funny how only the enemy team always has goats and your team has 5 dps and maybe a Mercy
people wanted no role que.
And they get NO ROLE QUE.
No role que comes with goats vs you and your team being 5 instalock dps mains.
It comes with never being able to play what you want because 3 others picked that role sooner than you did.
It comes with extremely unbalanced team line ups and the stomp or be stomped situations most of the time.
But hey… It has shorter que times. So ENJOY.

No. I never got GOATS and I would love to. Usualy I am the only healer in group or they push me to take a tank but others just go dps and don´t care that we are going to loose like that. First, I want a GOATS team, and not only play against it.
Goats almost never happens and the couple of times it did it utterly failed.

Welp, mayby thats why in EU most people seemed to not play Goats at all.
over the course of 2 OQ “seasons” and thus far into this one…i have seen GOATS a grand total of 1 time so far (somewhere in middle of last season - we ended up winning btw)…im in mid plat…im either EXTREMELY lucky or the goats thing is EXTREMELY exaggerated and its nowhere as strong as it used to be
8/10 times on master+ the games are GOATS matches. I don’t know where you guys are playing. If not GOATS on both teams than the team that is closer to resemble a GOATS comp wins.

But… there’s another Team comp that gets played a lot there… called 5DPS. Either way… glad I don’t waste my time there.
In my experience, anywhere above 3k is goats or if you’re losing everyone go goats and instawin.
I rarely, if ever see 5+ dps games at my rank in OQ
