Widow is wayyyyy beyond carrying games. She dominates games to the point of ruining it for many. Carrying Iām fine with, widow is just cheese of the highest level. Non stop insta-gibs with zero risk, I mean come on man. If any character had an ability that one shot people with zero risk everyone would freak, but widow gets it with just her gun, every second.

There are multiple GM players that think like this, including myself. ChipSa (I think thatās his name?) is a streamer who I watched for like 2 seconds and he was always on about how Widow is a BS heroā¦ which I tend to agree with. But he also plays DF, soā¦

but you have to admit doomfist is wayyyyyy weaker then widow ever was
doomfist is still more dependend on the eviroment and counters than widowā¦

me too, that was bad design but widow is the best dps hero in the game by far right now next to hanzo

Ok, as a Mid-High Masters player Iām going to be straight up and honest with you. Yes I do think Widowmaker needs a nerf at some point (Like make her grapple have a longer cooldown) so she can be killed easier. But the thing is though, itās not the Widowmaker thatās so hard to dive, itās her teammates peeling for her when she gets dove on. Thatās the issue. And Widowmaker is effective at basically any range. I personally main Genji, and hitscan roles and sometimes Iāll flex. I have had experience playing Widowmaker and I have pretty decent aim (Over 20 scoped crit, over 50 scoped accuracy [Some people even get up to 40 scoped crit accuracy]) but it seems that every Widowmaker I face, I get deleted by. She might need a nerf, and she might not. I really donāt know know necessarily what to do with her. She is like Sombra. In the right hands, there is NO WAY to kill her, and she ruins your life. Sombra and Widowmaker both need a nerf in my opinion. I want Sombraās old non-reworked character to be back because it took a lot more skill. Same with Widow. Donāt nerf Widowmaker to the ground, but LIMIT her power, because at the highest levels of play where people hit every single flickshot, it becomes a pain to deal with the Widowmaker.

None of the things listed is going to happen.
The only thing that could possibly be made is the scope/image blurring or shaking brutally when you move while scoped.
Thats it.
Learn to counter her and deal with her, just like any other strong hero.
ive been grandmaster since season 4
widowmaker has been meta for basically every season due to her op design. she needs hard nerfs.
i wish i was plat again just because widowmaker is so stupid at the highest levels of play, you need a better widowmaker or an entire team swap to counter her which is bad design

I think we should just give up because at this point i donāt think theyāll do anything to her. The only thing they would do would be increase her grapple hook cooldown but that wonāt change the fact that she can kill half your team before a Winston/Genji even get near her location. People defend her with the argument that is an FPS and for this reason she should one shot people but they forget this game is all about counters and stuff so a design like that which the only counter to a Widow is a greater Widow is just beyond stupid to me. Itās those cases where the devs have no idea of whats going on in their game like they donāt play it at all outside playtesting.

I wouldnāt say hard nerfs, just limit her mobility and dmg a little more and you should have a balanced hero

2-2-2 would actually hurt widow in some cases
