Remove the progression tab

I’m going to keep it short without sugarcoating it, I find it annoying and it’s just another visual clutter to me. I never stop to look at it and spam space to skip it. I never did this before and after competitive I would usually see my rank; now I find myself so eager to skip progression tab that I accidentally skip the rank tab when I spam space.

For those that are confused, the progression tab is a page after you play a game showing your progression in heroes, like how many shots, abilities you used, kills, etc (stats depend on the hero obviously)

Am I the only one that does NOT care about it? Why not make an option to skip that page automatically in settings so it’s like it was never added?

It won’t change, give up. Devs are set on the weirdest features. Over a year ago:

Though I’m glad more people are coming around. Took long enough.

I thought it was cool at first, but eventually I realized how little I care about it. I’ve always played over half the roster, so I’ll never see any cosmetics from this because I don’t one trick

I have like 20 heroes ranging from I think level 15-22 but my player level is massively inflated by comparison, I feel like it makes my profile look weird

Rivals progression is simultaneously way less simple and yet feels way more impactful. Can’t wait for my special Groot/Squirrel Girl portraits/multikil banners, significantly more hype than 20 color alts of a side profile nameplate of Lucio’s face

If levelling up a progression gives you something beneficial like 10 coins, i might be okay with it. But right now, the current progression system is so unrewarding, i too find it annoying.

This is exactly the issue with it. Unless you are a stats nerd it’s just death by numbers and ill-explained ranks. It needs to be way more rewarding, interesting and intuitive.

People liked the medals and voting cards at the end of OW1 games because it showed your contribution to the game (beyond the scoreboard we have now) and was simple and digestible.
