IS an absurdity for a multiplayer game to have this privacy mode… is not Instagram, Facebook… or any other social… Privacy is here just to hide the big fail of the Match Making! Not other reason… we can see the stats? 99% of the player use it? But this is a multiplayer game! I want to see others stats, i want to see what they use normally, and i want to see their RANKS. I want to see this because every game in QP are just super unbalanced! I want to see with my eyes how broke is this match making… where u can put a Grand Master Tank vs a Plat Tank and so on, really really smart!

Nah, it’s an absurdity to not want or respect privacy in the modern age. People fought for that right in the past and yet so many are willing to freely throw it away.
Well, QP has loose match making by it’s very nature/design. It still has MMR and as per the recent developer update, and it has role deltas so it’s highly unlikely that a master tank is v a platinum. You are posting in the competitive section of the forum, which coincidentally is the answer to any loose match making complaints in the casual modes. Play competitive if you want tighter match making.

Wins and losses don’t matter in QP. If they matter to you, play comp.

What??? AHAHHA people fought for privacy?? Where? When? We have TPM now in Win 11 or u think it is for us? No, is for tracking u better (search ‘Palladium’, for instance). So where u live?? We don’t have any real privacy with our smartphone or computer. And in any case, this has nothing to do with the “privacy” (privacy, lol) in a multiplayer game, that is just hidden statistics, there is no real name, nothing, is just a disservice for all of us. But it is good for Blizzard.
You’re already tilted or tilting if you’re going profile surfing.
The information there isn’t going to help you in any way at all.
It also won’t show you anything match maker related.
For what purpose. Stats without context are totally meaningless.
Open your mouth and ask them.
If it’s the enemy you want to see… Playing counterwatch means you’re a lesser player. Out play them instead.
Again… Why. They are in your game, so their MMR will be somewhere near yours.

It just isn’t.
If I was plat, I’d love to play against a GM tank occasionally. I’d learn far more than playing against other plats.
(Oh wait, I did back then. I played in scrims and learnt how to survive against them).

Data is valuable, i agree. But its what you do with the data, and as smart as you are to see the advantages of sharpening your game, or sharpening the matchmaker, or improving the experience. Thats smart.
Unfortunately we got a buncha folks, for whatever reason, who overwhelmingly use the data to flame.
Blizz doesnt know how to handle that so they go to the default option. just remove the players options and remove the player lol.

I’d agree if the community wasn’t a toxic pile. These stats only get used as weapons to flame. I think they should even get rid of tab. It never helps. Only feeds ego and rage.

We could go back to how it was in overwatch 1 just without the medals. Checking ultimate charge is very important for strategies and it floods the comms to have to ask ult charge %'s all game. Also just checking team compositions.
but also get rid of potg, maybe someone believes he was the carry for getting potg. Can’t have that. everyone should suffer equally.
and in terms of privacy, enemies should not see what I play, even if we shoot at each other.
make everyone invisible and have soldiers gun sounds.
