People crutching double shield in higher ranks who don’t deserve their rank. Easiest comp to play.
You got Hog and DVA who are low key op right now because of double shield.
Hog - two buffs to take a breather, movement during it and resistance. One should be removed.
DVA- Armor buff and damage mech.
It’s just sad that this game wont be fixed until OW2 with 5v5 but who knows when that will be.

You can’t nerf dva without nerfing supports, tanks, and DPS.

5v5 is coming so there’s not much point in suggesting alternative solutions. Sigma without a shield is not a tank, he would need some other mitigation ability. Or an oppressive offensive ability like Roadhog.
Hog and DVa, two heroes without shields, are OP because of shields? What?

I’m fine with Soldier getting his spread reverted but realistically speaking I’d say supports enabling hitscan is a bigger issue when it comes to DPS
I wonder how annoying double shield would be without bap. immo and aoe healing turns it into a brawl comp without the downsides of brawl.
Give his shield back to Symmetra in that case.

he has another mitigation, portable black hole. Make the cool down shorter.
BUUUUT… I will concede, either one can go away. He does too much. The shield is the only thing IMO that doesn’t fit with his lore so I vote for that to go bye bye.
Rock and bouncy balls are fine. (I have problems with generating shields for a character to work too, but I think I have to concede that one, or else Doom and Sig can’t work at all)

They are already monstrously nerfed, thus you get no value even of insane mechanics. Role balance do not exist until tanks can stack as 2 and supports has the best utility in a game.
If is FPS game in a 1st place btw.
How about we don’t remove Sigmas shield.

His shield is way too fun to use. Can’t delete it. Just give it a much longer CD so it’s less of a team barrier and more of an ability to be used for blocking in a pinch. Matrix could be buffed to compensate if necessary.
If you can’t figure out how to break those tissue paper barriers in 2021, you should just stop playing the game.

I only agree with the first half of your post. But god do I loathe Sigma, Orisa, and Brig bots on ladder who camp in their barrier houses and make you play poke with them. Sigma and Brigitte killed this game their reworks can’t come soon enough.

It’s so easy to juggle shields, so many hitscan content creators already have quit the game because of double shield, no content for Valorant/ Apex
All that’s left is boring tank mains and Mercy mains on twitch that don’t have to sit through the queue.
Well duh. Why would you run hitscan into barrier? Like, they are supposed to counter hitscan. Play the other dps heroes instead of whining until hitscan is the universally best pick. Go mei, sym, and junk
