this is the dumbest ability of all time that doesnt even make sense. A grenade doesnt CC you, it just does area dmg, and thats how theyre designed. Plus, WHO EVEN ASKED FOR A HINDER GRENADE?? Just bring back the magnetic that did 120 dmg. its much better than this annoying garbage.

I’m sure that the devs will get right on it. But honestly as annoying as it is, it’s not really that bad. There’s plenty of annoying stuff in this game. Adapt

or if there are sentient robot uprisings
or if there are black hole powered weapons that convert hits into energy
The only reason they haven’t said or touched anything about his grenade is because Cassidy would become very much useless. He’s already a dive target so the hinder is what protects him because he has no other way of defending himself other than just landing his shots. His old grenade did 130 damage and was too reliable to get kills with, when it got nerfed to 120 he was weakened a lot. Other than his nade he has no “real” utility, he has some movement with his “Roll” but that is basically used as a reload button, and his ultimate… oh wait guess what, another reload button ability! Unless they do a mini rework, his nade is gonna stay the way it is for a while until they can figure out what to do with him
People complaining about Hinder brings to mind the halcyon days of people whining about using throws in fighting games.

I don’t mind hinder, the magnetic part is what I hate.
Either it doesn’t work at all when you use it, missing entirely or getting stuck on walls or failing to follow a Tracer that blinked 5 feet to the side
or it tracks you perfectly no matter what evasive action you take or how fast you are.
I also absolutely hate the experience of getting shot in the head by Cassidy and getting low on health, dipping behind cover, he throws it beside the cover, it magnetizes to you and you die.

I play Cass all the time and I hate it too. It’s inconsistent ever since they tuned it. I can throw it directly at someone and it’ll miss if they move 3 feet to the left/right before it hits them. The magnetism only seems to really work when you hail mary it. The coding for the arch or when the magnetism actually follows it’s target needs to be updated because it’s trashy right now.

when i mean CC, i mean by the grenade not making you able to use movement abilities. and yes, i know what flashbangs are, and they hinder you. BUT, thats not cass’s grenade, it was back in OW1.
