im uninstalling this game becuase of hero bans. this decision was not a good idea at all and this game isnt worth playing anymore becuase if your favorite hero gets banned then what. what does it even do how does it make the game better if anything it made the game worst literally the worst. why not add a different gamemode on competitive where hero bans are on and a competitive mode where it isnt allowed. but no instead its in comp and the voting doesnt even make any sense like i dont get why im asked to pick my prefered hero if its gonna get banned anyway or theres a chance of it being banned. literally makes no sense. ill be waiting for this to be removed from the game and if not ill just never play again bec this is dumb. unless this gets removed you’ll never see me on this game ever again
i agree. OW2 came out in 2016 and after 9 years they decide to give us hero bans. Btw i didnt saw a single Sombra in comp since this was introduced. Almost feel like they deleted Sombra from the game. Also Widow is a rare species to see in comp.

I too want hero bans to be removed. I consider it one of THE worst changes ever made to this game
Back in 2020, a hero bans system was added to this game, bt it was removed just a few weeks later based on the negative feedback OW got from the player population
So to get this removed, they need to hear from us again

Absolutely feel hero bans has been one of the single best changes theyve made to this game, personally.
Remove all the cheaters and hackers… game is swamped with them

You are aware it was basically the most requested feature by the community for the last few years.
All the big PvP games are heading down the same paths as more heroes are added.
Does OW need better ability overlap. Yes.
Are hero bans a good and healthy thing long term. Yes.
If, you dislike them so passionately, you aren’t wrong. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. But, it also means the game is moving away from you. It is evolving. Either embrace the change, or find something new more akin to your tastes.
Evolve means to develop gradually. Over the years OW has added many features as the game continues to evolve. Hero bans is just the latest.
Not everyone is going to like every change. Nothing wrong with that.

Or even to a less extent adding hero bans to Apex Legends (which is coming soon, apparently)
better to delete or remake the toons that get banned every game. people dont like them
I think they are good for the game and I keep seeing this argument get used, it makes no sense. The ban system was hated because it was probably the worst ban system ever added
