Hero bans for comp should be removed. I understand that they are in place to help stop one tricks and help change up meta.
Instead there should be a system of banning like Rainbow 6 siege where at the beginning of each game both teams get to ban 2 characters. For over watch both teams should be able to ban 3 characters for each role or both teams get to vote to ban a total of 4 or 5 heros.
