Discord needs to be removed. With this new patch you need to either remove or tone down how much debuff it gives… Its utter stupidty

Zen is so dumb rn, as a Support main I feel disgusted playing him because it might as well be a free win.

Mate im not talking about that post from Aug of last year. I am talking about the here and now. Zen has been buffed a lot by this patch. Bigger hit boxes and with the added bonus of the discord orb. Yup needs to be removed. Its utter stupidity that it has been left this long. Zen was a hero designed around 2 tanks ffs. WE DONT HAVE 2 TANKS ANYMORE!!! He needs to be adjusted to this game not the other OW. Its been like this for way too long and this patch only highlights it

Zen was actually giga buffed when they changed armor calculation 2-3 seasons ago.

Zen also was oppressive to tanks core component of damage mitigation.

Blizzard doesn’t respond to core mechanical issues in their game in a timely manner often resulting in issues remaining relevant far longer than they should.

Discord is an integral part of Zenyattas kit. Removing it would just add to the already growing list of homogenized heroes being the complete same. Can you think of anything in game that gives a debuff like discord?
It has also gotten plenty of nerfs due to the consequences of 5v5, making the ability a clunky mess to use. Its easy to stay behind cover, let it go away after .5 seconds and re-engage. Or, could just use suzu and win for free.
With the DPS passive that reduces healing by 20%, its easy to take advantage of Zens already low healing. He needs discord in order to add an extra layer of “Hey, don’t dive us or you’ll take more damage” while his orb slowly heals.

Zen as a charc needs to be reworked for a 5v5 format. Its simple and this patch only highlights how overpowered discord actually is. Bring back 2 tanks and then ill say discord is fine.
Nothing is stopping them from reworking. This entire patch should have been put onto a experimental patch 1st. Not a live game
