Remove Brigitte

I’m not messing or trolling, I’m 100% serious. Brigitte is too OP and does not belong in the game. She was a good idea but does not work in this game and I know in an ideal world there should be compromise such as a rework or nerf but I can’t believe I have stooped to the point to where I want her out of the game. I’ve been playing as her for the past few weeks and I’m not even that good but I still manage to obliterate the other team with her. When we’re losing, I just switch to Brigitte, hope the enemy team doesn’t have Brigitte and then I win

She needs to focus less on being oppressive to everyone, rather than just dive, which she was designed to counter.

i totally agree.
they could nerf her to the ground or rework her to be a heal bot id still hate her with all my guts.

She could use small tweaks to make her a easier target such as lowering her healthpool to 150 health 50 armour or they can go other ways like removing brigitte hard stun and giving it to mccree. She can have a stronger support kit and mccree can actually exist in overwatch

Look, if i can deal with Genji bouncing all over the place and his ability to block practically every ability in the game, you can deal with Brigitte.

She’s fine.

From what I see from these people, they need another easy melee hero so they can hit Brigitte. Cause they dont know how to do it with Reinhardt.

Phara is gonna get a buff. She will hopefully be busted so that we can watch brigs that climbed to the wrong rank drop like flies. Needless to say it’s gobba be exciting.

Could be easyly handled by nerfing Dive/Mobility alongside her… will they do it?
Probably not since their posterchildren are Divers.
She would really not have to be “oppressive” if the job she’s been made for didn’t need an “oppressive” character to do it.

She needs more buffs.

Lets give her shield bash a reset like genji’s dash, lets give her recall so she can fully heal and blink as well while we are at it, lets give her wall ride so she can escape people, lets give her, oh I don’t know, any number of things that make other toons opAF.

Dive/Mobility is fine all thats needed for brig is a nerf to her shield health or health regen, she survives so much incoming damage it’s sickening, if she isn’t in a 3v1 she most likely wont die…

Its highly OK she counters dive, she needs to be weak to characters like reaper who can ONLY attack close range, her specific purpose is DIVE, not EVERYONE BUT Pharah Junkrat etc.

Yes, but the problem is… when she is getting weaker against close ranged characters like Reaper… she automatically becomes weaker to heroes like, fitting for this example… Tracer.
This automatically reduces her ability to counter… again in this example… Tracer.

About her Survivability… this is one of the biggest aspects of her countering Dive… She is SUPPOSED to be able to survive these initial Dives onto her unlike most other supports, specifically Ana and Zen who don’t have escapes.

Just like her countering Dive Counters almost everything… if she is made weaker against the rest she’ll also become weaker to dive unless they make it so that the other heroes are buffed rather then her nerfed.

And this even already takes effect… Example again… Tracer.
Brig’s Shield bash already received 2 extra seconds on her CD… sure it’s less “oppressive” on the roster… but this also makes it less “oppresive” on Tracer which means she is less able to counter her reliably because if she fails those 2 seconds extra is almost another Blink on Tracers count as well as a lot of potential Damage on Brig or her barrier. And Remember… Tracer is actually one of the Highest DPS heroes in the game and has a higher effective Range than Brig’s flail. There is a good chance that even a mediocre Tracer can use those 7 seconds to get the shield down completely and do a good chunk of Damage to Brig in the process.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind if she just disappeared forever. They always said they might be willing to kill a character off. Hopefully they meant her.

They’ll never do it. It probably cost them $100k plus just for all of the art assets, etc. Better to just ask for her to be nerfed so she’s not overpowered (and she is, look at her winrate, it’s ridiculous).
