I love playing Rein but even when I’m struggling as him against a team if I have one fight where I pop off, Only ONE! They always swap bastion and then I have to swap or just not exist at all. Bastion is literal cancer to tanks in lower ranks. High value for very extremely low skill. Just get rid of him please! I’m begging you blizzard.

Low ranks? I mean, you can still absolutely play Reinhardt there unless map geometry favours highground mobility greatly (Gibraltar + Numbani for example). You simply just can’t go hammers blazing until you baited out Assault Config.

Play methodically and take your time. Throw fire strikes you are sure to connect, aim for short distance pins when safe and abuse the time he doesnt have Assault.

Isnt Rein in the same camp as Bastion? High value and easily to play in low rank?

Sure, just remove everything you don’t like instead of playing something else that doesn’t have what you hate in it.

Just swap to Sigma, D.Va, Orisa, or Mauga and you can eat Bastion for breakfast. Not every tank is bad against him.

DPS and supports need to have options to deal with the enemy tank or it all falls on your own tank’s shoulders to swap. Tankswapping’s already bad enough as it is, we don’t need to make it worse.

No they aren’t. High value and easy to play? Fire strike takes much better aim than hit scan especially at longer ranges. Charge is still much riskier than grenade or turret mode. Only comparison would be their ults but Rein’s still a bit worse as he has to close in to get value and if he didn’t get the whole team people will shoot at him. Also Bastion doesn’t get treated near the same as Rein. Bastion isn’t CC farmed. He’s also not a tank so the experiences aren’t the same. When you see a bastion you don’t immediately think “Time to swap to a counter!” with Rein you do because he’s a solo tank. Please never compare a dps or support to tank. It will never be the same in comparison because tanks have to solo.
