Remove all sliders on consoles

In S1 there was only one technique and then sens and that was it.

In games like Bf, titanfall, cod there is just sens and aiming is smooth, even the difference between mnk and controller is almost nonexistent compared to ow.

Ow console has worst aiming in any FPS I have played in last 10 years. All the sliders just makes it more frustrating and still you have to choose if you sacrifice flicks for tracking or tracking for flicks, its just antiinuitive.

Remove all sliders and just make one clever aim method with adjustable sens. It will be better, more balanced and less stressful.

In last year i met way more people who would prefer this then tons of useless option. It looks like they dont even know how to do console fps aiming so they just threw all the dev sliders for us.

Make ow console aim more clever please…

The only way I think they could really “fix” it is if they went crazy with the aim assist

The main difference between ow and other games is the feeling of aim for me, in cod, fortnite or whatever, it feels like aiming is one with me and if i miss it feels like my fault.

In ow it feels more like constant war with aim system and aim assist, like battling something haha.

I miss the old days where there were only 4 sliders
Horizontal
Vertical
Aim assist strength
Aim assist window size
Smoothing

Play with aim assist off its garbage

My settings allow flicks and its quite a high sens compared to other fps games i play

Horizontal sens:60
Verticle sens:60
Aim assist strength:0
Aim assist window:0
Aim smoothing:0

Played on another profile a while back with the default settings and the game was actually unplayable

Just keep adjusting until you find your sweet spot

No need to remove the current system

I put aim assist very low. It messes with your aim most of the time.

Weird. I feel that it’s the opposite with OW. I’m able to aim deliberately in OW and it feels like missed shots are my fault whereas it can feel super random on other FPS games. All I’ve done is lower the aim smoothing, though, because it’s tough to flip around and shoot after blinks with Tracer if my cursor slows when moving over enemies.

Apex feels pretty good but that’s to be expected from the people who made MW2, the last good CoD. Destiny 1 felt good, too, but that had super heavy aim assist and giant bullets.

I enjoy all the sliders and optimization we get, but it is SOOOO SOOOO poorly implemented with pretty much no explanation what-so-ever. The whole options screen should’ve had a makeover a long time ago.
I mean, just look at the Titanfall 2 menu where you see a response curve change as you adjust your settings. There, do THAT. And plz for the love of god and Heinz Ketchup add deadzone sliders!

Edit:
This should be the golden standard for controller configuration in console FPS. Just look at this lovely screen:
