Might be interesting if they changed all the 2CP maps into 1CP maps for Quickplay.
Or maybe just adjust the respawn timers on the first point to heavily favor the attackers.
That’s about as likely as Blizzard ever learning how to make Tanks both fun and balanced. Aka, there’s a negative chance of it ever happening.
What’s wrong with them ?

I like 2cp. Hanamura is one of my favorite maps. The mode’s only frustrating outside of competitive because defending those maps is easier than attacking them. If you play competitive, though, both teams play each side so it’s a fair match. Try competitive if you don’t play it already.

Chokes, snowballing and trickling.
First scenario: Chokes are impossible to break through against a good team and it ends up being a press Q to steamroll the point. But then you ruin ult economy for second point and can’t cap it.
Second scenario: You push pass the first choke without using an ult because the other team f-ed up somewhere and you snowball second point with all your ults for a total of 4 min in your timebank.
Third scenario: You lose your first push and your team trickles through choke and it takes you 2 min for your second push

Assault is by far the best mode. Its very much down to teamwork. Which is why lots of people hate it

2 CP can be fixed if they adjusted the spawn locations of both teams. TF2 - 101
Yep you defend the point successfully for almost 3 minutes and the enemy gets a lucky pick and you lose the point.
After that at the second point you see 6 enemy ults and then you lose.
So fun
If you know they have six ults, don’t give them a chance to group up and use them for point B. Pushing into them early instead of waiting around on the point is part of the strategy in that case.
No delete koth instead. Or turn then into best of one.

2CP is my favorite game mode! It’s the only one that truly forces people to use teamwork and think strategically. Sure it can definitely be frustrating, but it also makes for some of the most satisfying games!
Have you ever tried competing on these maps? Seriously. It’s not fun. Not at a low level, not at a high level.

you think best of 3 is bad… it use to be Best of 5.
I don’t play competitive and leave any quick play match with those maps now it’s so bad. 1st point is attackers-guaranteed to win, 2nd point is defenders guaranteed to win. What’s fun about that. And if your games aren’t like that, you or the people you play with are probably not playing to win.
I leave almost 2CP map I join.
