Where are we at now? Anniversary Remix Vol. 3? To this day, 2CP, a mode disliked by a great majority of the community, is still in the game.
You plan on getting rid of it in the sequel, yeah? You got rid of both Horizon and Paris, so why not just remove the mode as a whole?
Some people like it and probably wont get to play it again in a couple months. You get your wish soon enough.

I would play OW1 more without 2CP in it. So there is that.

Just freakin leave the game if its 2cp. Stop being that person who hates something and tries to take it away from others who do. Nobody is holding a gun to your head and saying PLAY 2CP OR ELSE
Wait until you see how many people are going to complain about push due to its piss poor map designs.
All of this hate and need to ban/remove could have been solved by letting players selecting the maps/game modes they want to play on when queueing. People should have been asking for that not removal of content.
They already removed Paris and I agree with that. The moon map was ok. I like Hanamura. The game mode I like less than 2cp is the capture the point 3 round one.
I wanted a map avoid for years.
But I’m not gonna make perfect the obstacle of good.
i’d say this is the biggest problem in overwatch, the maps are all designed a lot around chokes and little else, overwatch 2 changed the design philosophy but overcompensated with excessive openness, especially in push.
I actually missed Horizon Lunar Colony. That was my favorite 2CP map besides Hanamura.
Based on what I played in the beta I don’t think Push mode is any better than 2CP.
I wouldn’t remove it from the game completely rather move it to the arcade section that way people still have the option to play it if they wish to do so that way people that don’t enjoy it wont get placed into mach making for it.
