Currently she’s the strongest tank and you can be charged in seconds by using both bubbles on you. Revert it and make it as it was in OW1 (1 bubble for self, one for friendlies), she’s currently melting everyone with her beams. I am a tank main and let me tell you, it is not fun playing against Zarya.

She would be pretty awful then, especially if the dps are both ranged heroes.

Why she would be awful? You can still get high charge but now it depends on your teammates, as it was before. All it will do is to spread her damage windows a bit and that’s exactly what she needs right now.
Altough I guess this change has to come after the Genji nerfs because that would be one less thing to worry about for genji players.

Honestly I’d just decrease her DPS and maybe how long her bubbles last.

Yeah removing the bubbles it this type of game as a 1t isnt a good idea…

I like the old idea the devs tried out back in OW1, where when she bubble, it bubbles everyone in a small radius in the 1-3-2 format
in Total Mayhem she is really broken, can bubble infinetly and is almost immovable, the only thing that can move her is Rein’s charge

Her range is short, literally any range dps can melt her easily, she won’t even have the time to do any damage.
She has like 450 health, so much thing can melt her almost instantly and even with a bubble left.

Seriously, kill her pocket Mercy and then just nuke her down. She can’t laser you if she’s dead and she has no mobility.
Winston Dva and arguably sigma are all better then zarya especially on dive maps and even on some push/payload.
Nerf those 3 tanks too and ill be happy.
I don’t think the bubbles are the issue, it’s the amount of damage she pumps out as a result.
They should try nerfing her charge rate, nerfing her ult cost or nerfing her beam damage.

Im up to any of these changes along as we also nerf Dva Winston and maybe sigma. These tanks are all better then zarya on most maps except for some payload and push maps.
I feel like DVA is the epitome of what an OW2 tank should be.
Winston and Sig are cancer tho.
I don’t really dislike vsing any of the times rn on dps or in tank duels.
I do feel like if we nerf zarya she’ll go from A tier to b or C which is fine if the meta wouldn’t be more dive-focused then the game already is.
I love dive its fun to play and not to bad to play against but being forced into winston every game on every map would be annoying
Why should she have to rely on teammates when other tanks don’t?
Taking away her bubbles isn’t the solution, I think they should reduce how quickly she gains charge from damage on her bubbles.
Nah, that change is the most important to make her feel good to play. I hate being dependant on teammates to play my hero.
To nerf her properly, we should tackle other issues. For example how long her bubbles last
