Remember how equalizer was based on concept art for lucio?

I figured they would run out of material to work with when it comes to lore skins at one point (even tho they already skipped characters who got bugger all archive skins in the first place) but concidering Equalizer was a skin based on an earlier design for Lucio and was very well received, i figured it would’ve set a standard for what future archive skins would be in the first place.

As someone who owns the artbook there is atleast 2-3 good alt designs per characters you could make really good skins with and instead they went with… this…

Like if you are going to give another skin to soldier 76, i’ve been wanting a skin based on his original design by Christ Metzen since LAUNCH

Like the skins arent… terrible but this is definitely more anniversary material if you ask me.

mei has a lot of interesting concept art

also that one male version of mercy is very cool

You literally cannot if they just think of things… there is no “running out”. One good avenue is the “casual” look skins… they could do zillions of these.

It is but theres no reasonable way they could implement it unless you wanted Mercy to have a much larger hitbox and be at a disadvantage while using it.
