Reload on kill?

I don’t remember which other game modes I’ve seen this in so I could try to replicate it. How would I implement a “reload on kill” mechanic to VAXTA for example? So that I don’t have to choose between “infinite reload” or regular reload mechanics.

On any kill event set the attackers ammo to 0, the reload should start automatically after the rule executed and the ammo is set to 0.
