^Title. It’s not by much, I think someone found it to be .1 seconds, but that matters a lot when you’re blocking shatters on prediction or reaction. It also matters a lot for a few other miscellaneous techs good reins could use, and just generally makes the hero clunkier and even easier to punish.

This was already mentioned by an OWL player (I forgot who it was). This might be intentional though not necessarily a bug.
I made a thread about this and added the video showcasing frame by frame how much slower the deployment of the shield is after the patch.
This bug still exists after the latest LIVE patch v1.32
– Ever since the latest patch v1.28.01 on the live servers, Reinhardt has had a severe delay of an extra ~0.5seconds compared to pre-patch when it comes to deploying AND retracing his shield.
In the past deploying your shield was near instantaneous but as of right now, it takes considerably longer for the shield to open up.
A lot of streamers, youtubers and community members have noticed and pointed this out as well.

They keep ignoring all the reports.
It’s due to new animation frames they added.
It makes Rein slower in everything. If that’s their intention, to make the slowest hero even more clunky to play, then I give up.
Still no response from the devs about this issue/stealth changes that have been introduced since v1.28 and are still present in the live patch v1.32!
