Rein weapon mythic

So for the $40 bundle

You only get the Base mythic but have to spend an additional $24 to pay for the remaining 30 prisms needed to fully “Unlock it”

I actually dont know what i was expecting

So theoretically…

The weapon skin would be $80 if you want all the effects.

The bundle + the separate prism purchase lets you have that, but for $64, + 2000 coins and 20 tier skips.

Overall still not a comfortable purchase imo. The mythic weapon being valued the same as the mythic skin just doesn’t sit right. Maybeeee if they made mythics weapons cost like 40$ MAX for all the effects (that you can toggle off) that could work but these prices are still absurd.

It always amazes me that people spend AAA game prices for a new dress in a game that’s free

I mean if you have the money do it, just realize that you are also supporting the drive to put more energy into skins than the actual gane

I just tell myself they’re wealthy, well-adjusted adults with tons of disposable income so I don’t feel bad for people

I agree this is blatently overpriced to all hell even though i do like the skin however its not worth the massive price tag.
What angers me even more though is the fact they wipe replay codes every patch. I was watching some comp games my partner sent me she played with her friend and it kicked me out to apply the update then i go back to finish the match and i cant watch it anymore because of this horrible system.
Like seriously what purpose does deleting saved replays serve?

The people who make the skins aren’t the people who balance the game and add gameplay content

The replays are stored in their end so wiping it clean every season makes sense

All the prices are crazy… 1200 this, 1900 that, 3800 those

But this isnt the end of a season its just adding in a new skin. Nothing else

If shareholders are making money from skins…gameplay content and balance aren’t as important when the money flow doesn’t change.

It doesn’t matter who works on what.

If no one plays the game, no one buys the skins…

Making skins doesn’t make the game suffer. Far from it, shareholders want the game to retain players- so they spend MORE money.

This is not a dress. It’s a Hellhammer.

Look under the coding…the hammer identifies as a dress

  • :axe: 50 for a weapon without FX, well over half the price of a complete mythic skin with weapon and FX;
  • :boom:10 for an automatic animation on every kill;
  • :muscle:10 for a very simple animation that was also promised in the OW2 trailers and NEVER arrived (the weapons inspection, remember?);
  • :fire:10 for some FX;

I just think it’s a scam even worse than Moira Mime Legendary skin. I’m really sorry that there is still a zombie fandom that would buy it anyway, it’s precisely in cases like these that we should not give in so that something seriously changes in the future.

no no, you need to be more specific here:
that bundle allows you to have ONLY the weapon (the first of the 4 tiers), not its VFX.

It’s not a scam, it’s an overpriced product that people have a choice to buy or not.

In no way is it a scam

You know exactly what you’re getting and exactly what it costs.

“scam” in terms of quality-price ratio, man. I didn’t use the example of Moira Mime randomly, which is clearly an epic quality skin but classified as legendary to bring in more money than was actually necessary to develop it.

the same goes for this weapon, sold for the price of a full mythic skin of which one of the levels is clearly the weapon inspection that was promised in the promotional trailers of OW2.

however you want to justify it… it’s a scam of the quality-price ratio that once again, for the umpteenth time… is unbalanced compared to anything else seen in the past in the game. call things by their real name rather than justifying it.

I’m not trying to justify anything just using appropriate language to describe what is actually happening.

I mean I get what you’re trying to say, that’s just not what the word scam actually
Means

It’s an overpriced skin

I specified that with “the separate prism purchase” line.

Without that the bundle is $40 for the no VFX weapon

Plus buying, prisms it’s $64 with effects

Imagine buying the bundle and realizing you still need to pay for prisms to unlock all the effects of the weapon skin. :clown_face:

The most hilarious thing about this is that you have to pay extra for the whole weapon skin. (And it’s already overpriced without that).

Not buying it.,
