i think rein needs a buff. like really a frickin rocket powered hammer does 75 damage? kinda ridonkulous if you ask me and his shield is fine but his damage needs a crazy buff i mean its a rocket powered hammer it should do about 100 to 125 damage. also if hes not using the rocket then still its a probly like a 80 to 100 pound full metal hammer.

Your input is very much appreciated. If Reinhardt could do more damage that may be more fun for some.
I will have to disagree with you in this premise though. I do not want any Reinhardt buff or nerf until Blizzard fixes all his bugs.

I think he’s okay at the moment. He’s not meta, but he’s still pretty strong. I wouldn’t really advocate changes for him either way

He should get fixed for alotta his bugs before anything. That and his damage is already so high and he gets his ult so quickly. Is his rocket hammer did anything above 75 damage a shatter could very well be a team wipe for him alone. Most characters outside of tanks don’t even exceed 300 health after all.
Before anything his pin needs to be balanced out, it’s so hit or miss it’s ridiculous. You either bounce off of him or get pulled into the animation, it’s a terrible ability.
Also orisa is being shown to be much better than him right now, showing an anchor tank doesn’t need to rely on animations to be good.

It does, but I would rather Blizzard give him a way to stop people from sticking their weapons through my shield.
Reinhardt needs bug fixes and an ult charge nerf… Though GOATS is dead so it’s no longer topical

The anniversary patch of 2017 really hampered his ability to use his hammer effectively, but Blizzard never fixed it.

Think of it, balance-wise, Do you really want rein to be going arround DPSing the entire enemy team? He can already deal quite a lot of damage by himself,
He is a tank, not a DPS, if i had to buff him, id give him an anti-CC R ability
It’s very odd yes. A good buff honestly would be to make his shield solid so enemies can’t just walk through it. That way Reaper, McCree, or even another Rein can’t just chip him away.
Like a 2,000 hp shield?

Shields dont block stuff like Rocket punch, Shield bash, Flash above shield, Mines, etc
