He still has 700hp, 1600hp barrier
Shatter still has a 25m range, and stuns for longer

It’s more of the whole tank issue due to 5v5 solo tank than rein.
If anything he is still the fairest tank.
Also rein was never known for brains mostly brawn oh and honor chivalry glory etc etc

Random when playing against any other tank : wow, a tank that is more lethal, mobile, fortified, or bloated than Reinhardt? That’s fine by me, really balanced and easy to avoid.
Random when playing against the most manly tank : wow, Reinhardt’s hammer is pretty hard to avoid, am I right, fellas? Can we perhaps nerf this guy? So dishonest!

yeah it is an issue with the format but i feel like other tanks haven’t had the knob tuned this high yet
hate it every time they buff his shield. like just give him a 20% speed boost while swinging and hard nerf his shield.

dva’s survivability got nerfed. im just surprised rein hasn’t gotten survivability nerfs in exchange for better gap closing potential with his kit

Sigma currently is bloatware idk why he got buffed, dva just got nerfed, queen is definitely op , zarya is on the brink of becoming monster.
Rein has always been simple and honest tank WYSIWYG.

bc hes a melee character, hes got to be a juiced up gigalord, doesnt need to deal with other tanks, just swing and charge into battle

The armor changes were a fairly big nerf to rein in comparison to the tank roster. Armored tanks in general took a big hit.

Yeah, totally. Massive nerf. And the displacement resistance nerf was also pretty bad. I believe it’s clear to everyone that Reinhardt does not need any more nerfs.

Is it though? Tankbuster weapons still do 50% less damage and his shield is still gigabuffed
The heroes the armor changes benefit were heroes like Soldier, Genji, Lucio, Bap who don’t have good shieldbreak and still don’t do meaningful damage with headshot reduction against tanks
20% is probably excessive but if they nerfed his shield health to like 1200, and maybe made it 15% speed boost instead of 20%, it could be something worth trying

Soldier’s shield break is relatively decent. I would not call it bad. I enjoy shooting at Reinhardt with 76. It’s always relaxing.

It’s not amazing, but it’s not the worst thing either. I guess if you have nothing else to shoot, why not. Most of the time it is pointless though, the shield just has too much HP. Soldier is better against Monkey bubble or Sigma type shields with a 3rd of the HP of Rein’s shield
Soldier was good when it was at 1200 or 1400hp

Rein is easily countered. Orisa, Ram, Reaper, Ashe, Mcree, Pharah, Bastion, Soldier, Ana, Moira, Illari, Zen. He stinks against anything with range and mobility.
Maybe 10%. 15-20% seems a bit much.
So true! I am a dedicated Reinhardt main, but I’ve had to switch to DVa, Zarya, Roadhog and Winston just to keep from losing recent games where I played tank. I shudder to think I might have to main DVa just so I can stick to a single tank in whole games.
But NO! I need to stick to Reinhardt to maintain my tank cred, win or LOSE!
