Rein-D.Va interaction not as weird as I thought

I always thought the spawn room interaction between these two had some wildly inappropriate implications for Overwatch’s mostly E-rated dialogue, but it turns out that’s because I never heard the whole thing.

Reinhardt: I was wondering if you’d sign something for me. It’s… (clears throat)
… for a friend.

Try interpreting that line without the whispered “for a friend” part at the end (because I never noticed/heard that part):

Reinhardt wants her to sign… something that he doesn’t want to mention out loud…? The version of D.Va’s response where she actually signs it on the spot makes it even weirder.

I’m glad to learn I was missing something all this time, as those extra three words change the whole thing.

Eh… I don’t think you really got what was happening there… again. lol

He’s just a fan of her work and doesn’t want to admit it, it’s nothing sexual.

You’re grasping at straws here if you thought there was anything remotely sexual in what Reinhardt was saying.

Just trying to stir up _____ when there isn’t anything to stir.

Assuming you guys read the post, perhaps I wrote it unclearly somehow, but the whole point was that I had drastically misinterpreted the line by missing a few words… and now understand it.

my fav interaction is when my brigitte asks pharah out
