Hello, i guess that the GM atleast noticed something to redirect me here but i’m not sure to discuss that openly because it can address something delicate.

Hi, I believe my Overwatch 2 account is being incorrectly flagged by anti-smurf or anti-cheat systems. After a break or even at the start of a session, my first 1–2 matches are normal and usually wins—suggesting the matchmaker is in a fresh state. But immediately after, I’m consistently placed in lobbies filled with clear or subtle cheaters.

This has happened since I started playing, yet I’ve still maintained strong stats: 54% win rate with Sombra and 39–45% accuracy—similar to legit high-ranked players. I’ve only ever used this one account and never cheated. My performance is the result of past FPS experience, not any unfair play.

I’m asking for a manual review of my matchmaking profile and to correct any hidden flag that may be skewing my match quality. Please don’t send a generic article response—this needs real investigation.

While we didn’t see any similar reports to what you’ve mentioned here, I highly recommend you to share your input by posting on the US Overwatch 2forums.

Also i’ll add that i noticed where unfair players are keeping they’r accuary commonly when they are cheating and it’s exactly on my accuary range. The overall of account doesn’t have that average since it has the first games where i past like 10 years withouth playing an FPS and has a peak accuary of 71% which i guess i can figure out that it was a game where i encountered an enemy team lacking too much reflexes and movement skill, and that can be completely posible in an extreme diference in aim agaisnt your enemy as it involves knowing movement and pattern recognision which is a hard skill to develop but i know that peak can be too much heavy.

I just want to play the game normaly.

Same thing. EVERY MATCH is against cheaters, its like anyone exceptional is going to be immediately flagged. blizz doesn’t even hear about it because anyone who posts about this kind of thing (or just cheaters in general) is immediately harassed/doubted/bullied/trolled by bad actors (guess who) incentivized to make sharing our experiences not worth it. cheater misinformation implicit censorship campaign.

Please, don’t flame the post. If you’re facing the same issue tell it. But mine it’s a particular case.

I want to get it solved and i’ll open my hand to the devs about the cheater problem if it is generic, because that is my last clue on it if no one on the forum is telling nothing about them.

But don’t wreck the post flaming. We want a solution, not to persist in the problem. All we want to play in a good environment.

It is mandatory for them now to answer and bring a solution to close the ticket.

But take in count that the devs are enough stressed out to be bloated with yelling.
Be respectful and talk in calm. No one wants the game dead and specially the devs.

And please don’t go so noisy. This is about a defense mechanism against cheaters. They do what they can and i’m just reporting an issue. There is competence out there and OW doesn’t need to be blackmarketed by Marvel Rivals for example to get more hurt. The cheater problem is global for all FPS Games and also in MOBA and all companies will be fighting the issue as they can because it kills games to the bankrupt.

I’ll give a hand to the devs if they want into addressing to cheaters, i’m an experienced veteran of FPS and also a DevOps Engineer.

We all want to play OW because we love it and just yelling and not taking action brings us to nowhere. And we are on a bug report thread. It’s mandatory to be polite and for me to be professional agaisnt them because is something that looks like a technical issue and i think i could help into it.

This is a complex issue. so please, let the devs work until they can give an answer.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT: WE DON’T WANT THE CHEAT SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS TO BE ABLE TO PATCH THEIR SOFTWARE AND BYPASS AGAIN EVERYTHING.

I already know how to make aimbots suffer a bug and also they are extremely clear to my eyes to see them. We could make a solution.
