If you where a true fan of the Overwatch extended universe comics you would actually know that in issue 17 page 5 it is revealed that Reaper’s real name is Joey JoJo Junior Shabadoo!

Ok but that’s hot. 
Once again, a beautiful post giving me information I never knew! I’ve played retribution a million times, but never heard that green cyborg or that weird cowboy say Gabriel Reyes before! Then don’t forget when you buy the legendary edition to the game, you get the Gabriel Reyes skin! I obviously never bothered to check the name for that skin! I used to be a reaper main, with 100+ hours on him, I never once found out about this! Thanks again, Icecell6! I now know Reaper’s real name!

That’s not true. Gabriel Reyes is just the face to hide his true identity as Reaper.
Just like Bruce Wayne is the costume and Batman is the real individual Reaper is and always has been Reaper. Gabriel Reyes is just so he could walk around all the other plebs in society.
