54 damage full bodyshot.
87 damage with full headshot. which is impossible.
how garbage is that.
mccree can deal 65 body, 135 headshot at 25 meters.
what in the world they think this is fine.
reaper is straight up garbage pick against armoured tanks.
reapers effective range is basically same with reins swing range.
how is this fine?
Reaper has superior fire rate and magazine, and against regular Hp reaper has a drastically higher dps on average.
Dps also are not intended to be solo tank busters.
If this imbalance is too much the correct course of action is to buff reaper against squishies (which they did, decently), not to return him to rank busting status (when he is balanced like that he is useless against everyone except the enemy tank which is awful for everyone involved including himself)
Apparently reaper now has a very high win rate… I still think he is absolutely weak even after his buff and they should still buff his movement options, not his damage though.
Reaper is quite fine overall. Your whole per shot thing matters little. He fires 2 shots a second. He has 108 DPS even after a 50% dmg reduction. The guy shreds tanks after the armor is deleted which is not very difficult after any other dmg applications in the game from other tanks, support, or the other DPS in cip dmg.
They JUST reduced his spread again which allows him to chip full DPS output into tanks from 10m away. He can fully outrange Winston and Reinhardt on their primary fires. Reaper has a trait Cassidy can’t do which is you try to stand in a tank’s strong range in their face point blank.
Which Reaper can do with his high DPS output, self sustain, high hp base, and iframe move as an escape when low on HP. No other DPS save for a Torbjorn can really tank a tank point blank really for any decent period of time. This allows heroes like Reaper to actually stand point with a tank and try to contest their space.
A tiny mccree is going to run away. Reaper has his place in the game. He needs more of a mobility adjustment than dmg change now. He needs to be be able to close distance more soundly.
