Reaper is near useless at this point bad range, bad stealth, and garbage ultimate. Can he be buffed sometime soon,There are many characters that does his job way better.
Reaper is fine. He’s just situational. He’s a counter pick, not a generalist.
Fine In what rank? because he’s considered a throw pick in diamond.Well i just looked at your profile and now i know why you say he’s Fine
man i hate this word with all my life
And people still wonder why others have private profiles…
I was diamond tank when he had 50% lifesteal and Mei was super broken. I dont want to face a Reaper in 9 out of 10 matches i play ever again.
I mean its the truth.
I wonder why he sees so much play in OWL?..
…NYXL must have been soft-throwing, I guess.
I think you need to drop the ego dude. Rank shaming when diamond isn’t even remotely high especially if you play on console. Reaper shouldn’t be the better than other dps because he takes less skill and aim. He’s definitely not a throw pick on diamond ps4 and honestly you’re probably making a lot of mistakes if you’re not finding value at that level of play. He’s a consistent pick that’s counterable but easy to get value out of and must be dealt with. Also to the person that said he’s good in owl yes and no. He’s good in owl because they just play budget goats as a team. Ranked is a different experience but you can certainly get value out of him.
Specialist Picks need to go imo, for the Damage Role to be more fun we really need to get rid of picks that are far too niche to be any good.
Which makes him situational, not a throw-pick.
Mm, we wouldn’t want our heroes to actually feel different from each other or anything so horrid, right?
Yeah I agree. You can definitely climb with him in ranked even if you one tricked him. Just some games wouldn’t be winnable due to map or counters. People that dislike specialist heroes live in fantasy land thinking every hero should always be viable or something. If a hero like sym or bastion was always viable, the quality of the game would be lower
No it’s not that, just think about how many Damage heroes require very specific comps or situations to be useful.
By picking them, your DPS is often setting your team up for failure. If I go Ashe, and we have a Reaper who’s constantly getting killed, I basically have double duty.
Its also the truth then that your opinion doesn’t matter because you are diamond and GM think you dont know what your talking about…
If your going to rank shame, it applies on your level too…
I could deal with Reaper buffs, his abilities seem a little lackluster. Wraith is cool but shadowstep is lame. As a Zen player I can 1v1 reapers in deathmatch and win more than I lose.
congratulations on immediately losing the argument
Okay this is such a weird take because your reaper teammate achieved the same skill rank as you so they’re an equal player in terms of matchmaking so you’re either not noticing your mistakes or that player is doing a lot and you don’t notice
I’m noticing my elims, damage, and how often he or she is on the kill feed.
It’s not a weird take, it’s the reality that a lot of Damage Heroes were made to be used in certain comps. They’re overspecialized and don’t have enough value on their own to be used outside of a very specific composition or strategy.
In other words, Synergy with their team is mandatory, not an optional or a plus if it pans out. That’s where I think 76, Ashe, Junk, etc really work well because they are a bit more independent and capable of getting the job done than say, Torb, Bastion, or Reaper.
Broken Reaper keeps getting stronger. WTF are you on? First off, he uses shotguns, why wouldn’t his range be where it is? His ult alwats4 gets teammates, its easier to teleport all over. He doesn’t need more buffs.
Uhhh I think I see your problem. Stop thinking about medals doesnt matter. Least important metric the game could possibly offer. Distracting two people or baiting out cooldowns and allowing tanks to push is way more important. I’m assuming all the heroes you listed you play which are all easy heroes to get high elims/damage which probably makes you think you’re doing better than you are. If those stats actually meant anything blizzard would use them to set your mmr which they don’t
