When Reaper’s shadowstep was changed the patch notes said “Reaper is now invisible for the entire time it takes to exit Shadow Step.” However, Reaper is not only invisible but completely untargetable whatsoever. Even though you can not see him, you should be be able to hit him. So at least change that aspect of him

I’m pretty sure you can hit him, it’s just a very small window (0.5 seconds)
You can still see where he is going. If you have more than 5 levels in the game you know where his head is going to be when he spawns.
reapper is still ez kill while shadowstepping, just correct your timings to shoot him. Best to do with hanzo cause projectile has delay and larger hitbox to guarantie a kill on shadowstepping reapper if u know when and where to shoot into it

I played against a Reaper who would keep trying to Shadow Step behind me (Rein) and every time I would smash his head in. Slow, loud, and highly visible.
Shadow Step is pretty much the games undisputed terrible ability.
I think there was some video about the last OWL where Reaper saw an amazing amount of play time. Guess how many times the pros used SS? Zero times. ZERO!

“Shadow step is the worst ability” is a meme at this point. You can teleport into a group of people and they cant hit you without timing exactly when the Reaper finishes TPing. It is not a weak ability as it was

That’s what makes Reaper so good now though. He used to have one of the worst TP abilities in the game until it was reworked. Widowmaker, Hanzo, etc cannot headshot him for free anymore. Ana cannot sleep him for free anymore. Some people forget that you cannot hit him and waste a cooldown on it. I seen Ana sleep and Roadhog try to him his position a few times before and it is just a waste or they did it too early.
It’s not the worst ability in the game. You can safely teleport right in front of most heroes.
Shadowstep isn’t as bad as it used to be but… that’s a completely lie, dude. Shadowstep is used ALL the time in OWL to set up different plays. Even SBB shadowstepping into the backline to ult them to death. So whatever video you watched was completely wrong.
Shadowstep is a very good ability now and the “worst ability in the game” is a meme that needs to die. And if you’re not using it to its fullest potential you’re hindering yourself as Reaper.

Please god no. I don’t want it to be a free kill on him anymore. Most, I’d go as far as to say that nearly everyone knows the general area of Reaper’s Head hitbox after he uses his Teleport. And lets not forget that he has a large head hitbox compared to his model.
Its fine where its at right now since he’s still easy to predict. People who say it isnt easy to predict probably dont have volume up, listen to music, or are not yet used to the changes, for example an Ana trying to sleep him or McCree trying to flash him as he is in the process of Teleportation.
