Reaper fires a projectile from his left hand. He cant shoot during cast time. (0.3seconds) If it hits, binds enemy hero for 2 seconds.(NO CC. JUST MARKS ENEMIES.) Reaper can dash onto target by clicking button again. He can only use his right shotgun while dashing. Fire rate is halved.
(DID A SAY THERE IS NO CC?)
Type: Linear Projectile

Also this ability is blatantly OP. Give the character with shotguns the ability to stun people for 2 seconds and (for all intents and purposes) blink to them? Are you kidding?
Since he is based on the “frost dk” from WOW I figured “obliterate” were you attack with both guns at once, like a lucio boop CD would be cool and op.
Projection, you mean the shadow step still being terrible? Fortunately Blame the Controller did a video about it, you should check that out because I do not want to explain why you are wrong if you cannot accept that nothing has changed. Lul.
Oh, really. Now I am interested. Let’s just forget about the video, how does this buff magically make Reaper better? The best use, so far, is that you can flank better… I guess. Which is not particularly great as Reaper is the worst flanker. The invis is literally worthless because, well, you are not actually invis. The. 5 second drop does help a bit. Not going to lie. But with how telegraphed it is, you still need to use it out of combat.
What changed, fam? I am dying to know. Their stated goal was to make it less niche, which I believe they accomplished, but it is still one of the worst abilities in the game regardless.
Fun…being patronized before I even get to explain things. Something tells me you aren’t going to listen to anything I say regardless. Though here is my point:
I never said this buff magically makes him better. You’re making assumptions about my position. I don’t believe reaper to be trash, nor do I find shadowstep to be the worst ability in the game. Any ability looks terrible if you only look at its flaws or only state how to counter it.
It’s an out of combat ability. The devs even stated as such. Use it as one. People who keep trying to use it to engage are going to be repeatedly disappointed. It’s used for traversing chokes and crossfires without being seen. You don’t use it to appear next to someone since that will get you killed.
Patronized? I am just a… I cannot say any word to describe myself. Oh. A donkey. I am a donkey. I did not intend to patronize you. My b.
I personally feel giving a character with one ability, a passive tied to primary fire (no alt fire), and one of the worst ultimates that is just a lower DPS variation of his primary fire an “out of combat” ability is pretty bad. Especially when Sym can do it, just she has options and the ability to tp the whole team. Please tell me, what are worse abilities? I need a bit of context because this is a pretty universally agreed upon sentiment even to Reaper haters.
Right. That is how I use it. But what changed? If I am using it out of combat. How do any of the changes realistically help outside of the new jump spots that put you grossly out of position?
I am willing to listen, but you are not giving me much. I am genuinely curious.
If right click was more akin to something like Hog’s, Reaper wouldn’t need to hard engage as much. Maybe we should try something like that before another movement ability for Reaper.
