Mccheese is still better than reaper for brawl, but if you are a reaper fan this should help.

I found him good on medium range and bad on close range very strange that’s not how shotguns works? OH this is overwatch

Since when is it a rule shotguns are close range? There’s literally shotguns designed to snipe like long range rifles
I would prefer if they use some choke mechanism like apex peacekeeper for midrange shots and kept the normal spread.
I think they changed him because he was really cheesy in QP and low ranks, but practically useless in higher ranks. The cheese levels depend on how high you went up the ranks IIRC.
The new reaper could at least give him a more intelligent playstyle, stand and shoot with enough distance to escape like usual, but its at the cost of ruining years of Reapers identity.
At least its not a full on nerf. I actually think Reaper has a chance to be really good now. A CHANCE to be.

The design of conventional shotguns. Typically, shotguns are made to be shot in crowds, which is already devastating, but naturally become even worse if you put the gun directly against a target.
Please link. I both don’t believe you, but would love to be proven wrong.

Honestly the only decent shot gun is on torb at the moment. Shame it’s on a hero that shoots from 2.5 feet of the ground, as it makes meaty body shots a bit odd some times.
Reaper only job was to be a TankBuster and they took that away. Reaper isn’t a duelist, this patch will only make him worse around . Reaper like Sym isn’t a duelist. This will only make him worse overall.
Why couldn’t they just buff the speed of his shadow step

I’m not going to link it, I guess it considers what you call “sniping”
I’m sure you can just google shotguns with a rifle barrel, we’re not talking 300m, probably closer to 100. Typically they’re for hunting deer
Last time I checked Reaper doesn’t have slugs and has extremely high spread because his shotguns have extremely short barrels. To compare the two is quite frankly, ridiculous.
