I’m seeing this exact sentiment being passed around on the forums, honestly it’s leaving me very confused. To start off he was my first main on day one of overwatch and I have 234 hours one him which is the third highest after Tracer and Hanzo.
Honestly to me he feels really good in OW2, I think some people simply need to adjust their playstyle of him and play him as a flanker who backlines the enemy team and assassinates the backline. You can frontline sometimes but honestly very rare opportunity, he was always meant to be played like this and not a tank buster.
To end this I’ve been getting a ton of good results with him to the point that I’d consider him near S tier if it weren’t for certain things in the current meta.
