Reaper destroys tanks why would u buff him???
I think you have destroying a tank in general confused with destroying a tank efficiently. He needed the buff desperately.
You push with your team, you start hurting the tanks, then they turn around. How are you supposed to get out when literally every other close range DPS option has a reliable escape method?

Its not like they buffed his damage. They only made him a viable pick since he’s now much more valuable.

Actually I don’t think those minor buffs are enough, still teleport is a suicide move and his ult can be countered by sheilds, stuns, hook and DM so… he needs a huge buff desperately

To be fair, the number of tanks expected on a team has really increased. The fact that they can totally replace dps a lot of the time, and the fact that they are the primary drivers of metas really brings into question their balance.
If they’re gonna bring in more ways to counter tanky comps (which I think they are), I’d much rather see it come via Reaper or Bastion than via CC like EMP.

As a tank buster reaper fails miserably at his job, he has to get in your face past all those shields, and to do that he will die with all the spam damage coming in and he can’t even outdps all the healing power from moira or ana, he can’t even counter anything but a winston solo, and a bad winston

Even though I like playing Reaper, he is damn inconsistent as dps.
Sometimes I aim at the belly of a Roadhog for example and suddenly I have a headshot. Next to I see his ugly mask right in front of me and shot at it and he barely has a scratch on him.
The wraith change is really necessary. I’ve had various situations in which I activated it to dodge some damage just to see the Mercy jumping in resurrecting the tank I just killed. And guess what, I can’t stop her in time.
With the possibility to cancel wraith prematurely I could take out Mercy as well. ANd 25% movement speed boost is not that much. I have hunted down Reapers in Wraith so many times even as Rein and killed them. They couldn’t really get away in their wraith form. With 50% it is a lot harder to do that.

lol pretty much all tanks counter him.
first ALL of them counter his ult.
Hog can 1 shot reaper and easily 1v1 him
dva can 1v1 reaper
orisa can put a shield up making it harder for him to kill the orisa, also team mates are usually with orisa
reinhardt can just hammer/pin reaper
zarya can out range reaper and bubble, with high energy, zarya can easily 1v1 a reaper.
winston can just go in and out of his bubble, making it much harder to kill the reaper, in fact a good winston could easily 1v1 a reaper.
WHY WOULDN’T HE NEED A BUFF?!?!?!?!?!?!?

junkrat does have a reliable damage, but reaper can literally 2-3 shots against winston,
the big problem about reaper players is they are scared to get killed, personally, i played reaper pretty often in the past, just get in and shoot everybody, and ur main target is tanks, not healers.
yeah, 5/6 tanks can take him out

cause you can actually get away with that in lower ranks
this is why I hate people… they can’t deal with a slow short range character

Because Reaper hasn’t been all that useful outside of low ranks.
