Tried 400 hundred fixes on the net and I’ve turned on precise inputs but if I move my mouse quickly, the game stutters for a second and I cannot figure out why. It’s recent, maybe a couple of patches ago. Is it lag? is it dropped frames, did they add some setting that boned mouse controllers? I really need a fix for this. Trying to aim at a fast moving hero then having the game hitch for a sec is punishing everyone on the team when im a supp.
Did one of your troubleshooting steps involve reducing the polling rate? If your mouse is using 8000Hz or 4000Hz bring that down to 1000Hz and test again.
its already at 1000hz
Is your mouse wireless? If so, it’s somewhat common for people to use the wireless dongle incorrectly by plugging it directly into the PC. The dongle should be sitting on your desk as close to the mouse pad as possible with the extension plugged into the PC.
Also keep your wifi router at least six feet away from the mouse dongle, that’s what Logitech recommends.
If your mouse isn’t wireless im out of advice, good luck.
It would be hard to know from what you are saying, but it could be a 1% lows frames situation where the video card can’t keep up. That might not be it too, but it could be.
- Make sure you have the latest video driver. Windows actually released patches that messed with some NVidia drivers. So, update to the latest game ready driver if you haven’t
- Make sure your maximum frames is set to 10% over your monitor’s refresh rate. That should keep things more consistent
- Turn on the FPS counter and try to look to see if this is a frame rate issue or not. You should be able to see it if that is the case
