can you use one authenticator for 2 different accounts. Long story short my main account got banned but that battle . net account has my other games too like SC2 and D3 while my alt account only has OW2 and was wondering since my main OW account got banned that means I can’t link them so can I still use one authenticator for both accounts?
you can have up to 2 accounts connected to one authenticator as far as I know.
either way, can’t you remove it from your main acc?

when I wasn’t able to get into OW2 I removed my phone number and authenticator from my main account and added them to my alt account.
I’m now confused what the actual issue is xd Is your whole bnet banned or just one game?
nothing sorry I was making it more difficult than it sounds…
I just needed to know if I can use my phones authenticator for 2 different accounts which you confirmed I can xD
Yeah you can, also if ban is only on ow you should still be able to remove authenticator from it I think.

so another problem now
I removed my number from the alt account because I want to use it for my main account and I reinstalled the game and it’s asking for SMS now…I’ve had this account for like 3 years I thought they removed the need for SMS
They will remove it today. The didn’t say what time though.
They did, but the restrictions won’t lift until later today, so try later or tomorrow
