Razer mouse issues

I purchased a Razer Trinity on Saturday (new). I have only ever used Razer mice and didnt have an issue before.

The mouse does not work correctly while playing overwatch. The left/right click work and the cursor just not any side buttons or the RGB lighting.

Sometimes when I load the game it all works fine then after 5 minutes in the game the side buttons either stop or keep pressing the same button without me touching it.

This only happens when I load Overwatch. I’m able to play Diablo and Quake for hours with no issues. I can browse the internet too.

What ive tried -

-updated all mouse drivers
-reinstalled all Razer software (both synapse 1 & 2) & deleted all razer folders before reinstalling.
-reinstalled Overwatch
-tested on my brothers PC for 1 hour and it worked fine.
-The mouse has an interchangeable side and I’ve used all 3 mouse button layouts. The issue is persistent on all 3
-I uninstalled Chroma SDK

Ive spoken to Razer support and they told me to do the above but it hasn’t solved the issue. Said i should ask for a refund from Amazon due to a potentially faulty product. But I don’t think it is faulty as it only does this with OW.

Thanks

Try installing Razer Synapse 3 instead…

my bad dude, i thought Synapse 3 was number 2. I already have 3 installed.

Let’s check to see if there are any remaining mouse drivers that are not actively being used, first make sure that your Razer mouse is plugged in.

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run Dialog.
  2. Type devmgmt.msc into the field and click OK to open the Device Manager.
  3. On the Menu Bar click View, then Show Hidden Devices
  4. Scroll down to Mice and other pointing devices and click the chevron to the left of the title to expand that list.
  5. Look for any Razer labeled devices that a semi-opaque icon (not a fully opaque icon). Right click on any applicable listing, and select Uninstall Device
  6. Confirm any uninstallation prompts including any Windows Administrator Prompts.
  7. Once complete, reboot your computer and try using the device again.

Ive tried that dude. Still getting intermittent problems :frowning:

Unfortunately I am out of suggestions then. This would have to be something for Razer to specifically consult on unfortunately.
