Rather pay a malicious business than twitch streamers

kind of funny to see how much more eager people are to pay blizzard – a company with a noticeable amount of reputable accusations made against them and their dev teams – directly for a cosmetic rather than streamers. you’re clearly all just bigoted and would rather subsist in a pool of acid than have a large number of people come and dilute it for the betterment of the game’s community.

game is near the brink of complete death and you’re all just maggots eating it alive, almost goading it on to die

Poisoning the well. .

You’ve done quite well…

Nah, I just got flashbacks to really insightful, and kind messages on reddit. And then you look at the username and it’s a long string of swearwords.

They’re not wrong though, it’s definitely not the most charming name out there

It’s such a cute name, I can only relate it to mercy one trick matching name accounts I’ve seen :heartbeat:

People are attacking the name, but can you really say the message is wrong?

Surely the idea of getting your skin by directly supporting a streamer you like (assuming there’s one on the list) is more attractive to some than giving the money to bliz.

Apparently not.

People really want to give their money to Blizzard.

It’s definitely not a great alternative. I mean do I want to give it to the corporation or the people making thousands of dollars a day from playing games? Kinda the same difference to me. I’d pick the company that signs the artists paychecks

Because the name is more entertaining than the post I guess.

Also not really attacking it, I legit think it’s kinda funny.

Yeah man I bet those sub 100 viewer Overwatch streamers are making thousands a day

So don’t pick one of those ones. Pick the one with the fewest subs, if that makes it more palatable.

Most people are just going to pick whichever one they find most entertaining, I imagine.

Definitely my choice, it’s an ugly skin anyways. Not really a big disappointment to miss out on it

If more people thought this way about cosmetics, gaming would probably be in a healthier place.

I understand this is a fake rage bait thread made by a throw away trash account… but wow it’s hard to read. I mean what does paying blizzard have to do with paying a streamer? They provide two different forms of content, streamers can’t give away in game skins unless blizzard give them the right to do so.

Worse a lot of streamers are not exactly much better, E begging is perhaps the best way to describe a lot of them. They also have a lot of hot takes and talk big but when every a company like Blizzard offers some exclusive access beta or preview, those Streamers bend over to get invited.

i just used a random number generator and converted the aforementioned numbers to their respective place in the english alphabet (2 x 1 digit and then 1 x 2 digit, repeating – while accounting for any invalid number by looping the alphabet) and then ran it through a rot17 algorithm and then converted that into base64. crazy luck on my end! xD

The problem is that they added the big names on that list, which makes it easier for people to migrate to names they know, and ignore the ones who are a bit smaller. They could have made it open to all streamers, that way everyone can be happy.

Well, kind of. This could have been an opportunity to pick uncommon streamers, and leave out people like xQc.

I would get it if it were for promotional purposes, but why make it so people sub to those who really don’t need that extra boost?

you seem dull; i never said that
