It’s been in the game for a long time, I only discovered it years ago in a custom as well when friends and I were just being silly. We were all so shocked lol.
when he respawns you mean? cuz he just drops to the floor in the video LMAO
He has some unique voicelines for deflecting certain ults.
I remember back in OW1, deflecting Bastion’s tank shells would have him say “BASTION, CATCH!”
Not sure if he still does that with Artillery’s rockets.
i find the interaction lines so cool, genji deflecting hanzos ult is now one of my favourites which is weird cuz i didnt even know it existed until now.
my favourite is when ramattra kills pharah “SPEAK NOT OF JUSTICE TO ME, HUMAN.”

Reinhardt says Hewwo sometimes when you say hello. He said it earlier in a game of kings row and i couldn’t believe my ears. I have never heard him say that, and afterwards i went to the practice range and said hello probably 300ish times and never got him to repeat it. It was with the ow1 skin.
Hanzo used to have a rare hello in OW1 but idk if it is anymore.
No joke, though, there are some voice lines that are intentionally rare.
Making a character say “hello” pulls a voice line at random chance, and it’s almost always one of two to four lines, depending on your character.
On super rare occasion, Reinhardt will say “hewwo” like he’s finally charged his head into too many walls. I’ve heard it twice so far.
“I know Kung Fu.” Back in the day, you supposedly needed to kill an enemy with a melee attack as Sombra to get it. I spent so long in the training room and cannot even remember if I was successful or not.
