And it not should be. I just went 5-9 W/L ratio with a game disconnect, and ranked up from diamond 4 to diamond 3. I should have dropped to at LEAST plat 1 or 2. Fix your game blizzard. Why am I ranking up even though I’m not performing well? Do losses not matter anymore? Are the team gaps so high the system gives us a slap in the wrist and not touch our MMR?? I am genuinely worried for this season.

I went 5-1 and went from masters 3 to GM 1 for some reason, was GM 5 at the end of last season so the jump seems a bit weird.
It’s probably trying to place you where you were last season or close to it.
There was a bug where if you logged on in the first hour or so your rank wasn’t accurate to your mmr. The first placement fixes it. I went from masters 3 to diamond 1 at the start of the season to masters 2 after going 5-5

I guess I should have provided context. I have already done those first 5 wins and went from plat 1 to diamond 4 with a 5-3 W/L ratio and no disconnects (as far as I remember). I am in no way a mid diamond player and still have the mindset of a plat lol.
