Was gold 5, finished 7 games, on the rank up screen it showed up as silver 5 and ranked me “up” to silver 2. So I lost ranks on my rank up because of this bug. This has happened twice now.

I thought this was fixed?!?!?!?!?! This is such BS. I was gold 1 today! I had a bad streak and went down to gold 5. Then i just won 7 in a row AS A GOLD 5 the rank screen showed me as a silver 5 ranking up to silver 1. So I just lost 6 ranks to a bug that was supposed to be fixed already.
Here is the video I took finally catching it happening. I didn’t think to go to my career profile to show I was gold already, but here’s the it has me shown as silver when im gold and ranking me up which is actually lower. THIS IS THE 4TH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME!

Im the same. I went from Platinum 5. showed me Gold 5 to Gold 1. so I also lost ranking

I hope I didnt waste 2 hours doing ranked this morning to be placed at a lower rank and mmr.

Same. This has happened to me twice now. Thought the first time was some stupid mmr fluke, but it’s obviously not now. I watched the gold 5 bug to silver 5.
The new Boost doesnt really help when im stuck at repeating ranks ive already done before haha. more of a penalty.

re is making rank pointless if I am goign to down rank for winning matches lol. How stupid.
So, you’ve said you experienced this bug twice? So, if you continue and get another 7 wins does it lock you at the same spot? or will it just happen randomly through your comp games?

No the first time I was gold 5, won 7 then it took me to silver 5. Won 7 and it took me back up to gold 5. then this one happened from gold 5 to silver 2, showing thesivler 5 at rank up.
This was my first one. Do you think its due to the update? I was Platinum 5. Won 7 and got a screen showing Gold 5>Gold 1. was depressing was excited to get to diamond.

No idea but I should be up in plat by now with all these bugged down ranks.
Yeah, I’m hoping to at least be mid to high Plat by now. but not going to play risking going down even further. when you win you derank. when you lose you de-rank. and its just another 2-3 hours to put in for non-guaranteed ranking

Sigh… I have serious doubts that we will get and free wins for this too. A lot of work for nothing.

I was high plat in OW 1 but I got placed in Silver 5 when I finished first 7 games. Then I got 7 more wins and I got to Silver 1, now I’ve again finished 7 games and I am still Silver 1. I don’t know if that’s how it should be and I’m just confused, but It doesn’t seem right at all.

We feel you. There’s some really bad stuff going on. I hate QP too, so this kind of puts the game on hold for me. Time for LoL which is sad lol.

So true. I can’t play QP, there’s absolutely no chance. I feel like people completely shut down their brains in QP (which kinda makes sense), and I am really competitive so I just can’t see myself playing it.
I mean… imagine that it gets to the point where you’re like… eh I’ll just play League. On the bright side, URF is up at the moment.

Yeah, seems there’s a few bugs stopping progression once you hit 7 wins either you’ll no progress or de-rank. The Bronze V bug still sucks. But like the one role I can play that isn’t. I can’t even progress with this rank bug.
i just won 7 support games IN A ROW and still am in bronze 5 so there’s that bug still out too. This is my 4th loop of bronze 5.

Have you guys tried sending a ticket to support? I know they suck at replying but since they won’t take it upon themselves to actually give us an answer here on the forums, might as well send a ticket to know what the hell is going on…
