I go on a 12 win streak and only go up 1 rank and a half maybe a little bit more but then lose 1 game and I go down 27%… like how does that make sense? the first 4 or so games we won in a row I only went up about 18% 17% then finally 20% only after we hit the win streak bonus. then we lose 1 match and I go down 27%. I don’t understand the ranking system in this game. you lose more then you gain. makes it so hard to climb up

Only way to climb in this game is win streaks. If you are alternating wins and losses it will be a net negative on your rank. Honestly it has incentivized me not to play because if I play I will only end of ranking down more. It seems like all my friends feel the same way and have only grinded for a mythic then completely stopped playing lol.

Because they think make people grind will make them more money. Instead, people are just playing until they get their mythic or gun they want and then stop playing. I wish people would stop trying to rank up. It’s not going to happen: get your mythic skins and guns and then enjoy qp with your mates. Ranked is a joke.

The closer your mmr is to the players you get matched with, the less swingy your gains and losses are. Having a higher mmr means your gains will be smaller and losses higher since you’re supposed to be better than them, and vice versa.
i play 90% dva every game comp game on tank and have a 58% winrate on herand SOMEHOW have gone DOWN a division, how is that possible. my rank literally will not go up, i cannot get out of plat even though i am winning more games than im losing
edit: not to mention im preforming well. its not like im getting carried, i preform well on dva with high dmg output and mitigation as well as good matrix usage and lots of kills so i just??? am at a loss
