Here’s a list of the skill levels required for each hero in the game, If you don’t agree because your favorite hero is at the bottom of the list, I’m sorry but it’s true.

Widow at 2 lol. Anyone with a smidge of hand to eye coordination can learn to play Widow decently.
A list like this can never really work.
Mechanical skill is one thing and game sense is another. Both are skills.
Lifeweaver is way, way harder to play in higher ranks than Illari because of the gamesense requirement.

There’s some obvious problems. Echo takes more skill than Widow or Tracer for example. The list I disagree with most is support. Both Kiriko and Bap take more skill than Illari. Lifeweaver should be #10 easily. Brig takes more skill than Moira. It’s a hot mess. And how can you not think that Winston is skillful?
It’s not a completely terrible list, but far from being the definitive one.
“Skill” is not nearly as meaningful as skill vs value…and a chart of that would look way different than that list more than likely
For the general gameplay loop, Echo isn’t really anymore or less difficult that Tracer, really. Widow’s a little different, but I don’t think she’s less skilled than Tracer, either.

Ehh… Brigitte just needs to avoid trying to solo Tanks. Moira needs to balance resources a bit more acutely than Brigitte does.

Stopped reading here. Tracer is some of the easiest dps to play.
Wrecking Ball is easily the #1 hardest tank, and Sigma is way higher than second-to-last. No way is he easier than Winston, and I say that as a mostly Winston player.
D.Va probably belongs in the bottom half (but closer to the middle), and I’d probably move Zarya a couple spaces up.
None of these heroes deserve to be at the top of the list. The requirements to be successful with them are far lower than the requirements to be successful with Reaper.

Yeah this ain’t it. All the characters I play are towards the top of your list, and I don’t consider any of them to be particularly high skill.
You also have to break down the different types of skill if you want to do this right.
Also, Orisa at 7? Come on. Even with the massive mechanical bias you’re showing, we all know that’s not right.
I’m with you about Ball, but I disagree about D.va. Her skill ceiling is so incredibly high with timing eating ults and damage…timing everything. Dva is really difficult. Zarya should also be towards the bottom I think. I love her, but timing grav and bubbles is way easier than what a lot of other mains have to do.
You seem to have no idea what you are talking about.
Playing D.Va isn’t about skill.
It’s about how much stimulant is in your system and how aggressively you chase any moving object.
The rest you pick up from trial and error.

I think you’re putting too much weight on mechanical skill, which is by far the easiest part of OW to get down.
