only if you’re going back to talking about mechanical skill. Think of it this way. Moira’s mobility, easier aim, and flex choice on orbs make her very good at finishing off picks that otherwise would survive, and clutching heals that otherwise would have died. she has a lot of range. Her executing to finish off a pick by itself may be low mechanical skill. But to get the top 10% of them, she has to be in the right starting position (a lot of fade jumps have the same starting obstacle), land the jump, and do so when the move adds value, in this case lets say finishing a kill (tho there’s other value). Of all the things she could be doing there are a lot of choices available. Make the wrong choice and you’re out of position, don’t get a kill, can’t heal, die, or any other form of failure. Make the wrong choice enough times and you’re a liability. Make the right choice enough times and you’re turning the game. It’s the choice that takes the skill. And her flexibility that increases the problem space making it harder to make the best choices. That is its own skill, and it’s one that seems to be very punishing and have a high ceiling because a lot of moiras get stuck not being able to get picks and being a lack-luster healer with little other utility for her team.

The funny thing with her is when top500s are pulling off those right choices her team still complain. But when she pulls off bad choices and becomes just a healbot, the team praises her and doesn’t blame her for the loss. :joy:
