Hello, I’m not very high ranked on overwatch but, I got in a match where all 4 other members of my team left and I was the only one on my team and dropped 40 points or whatever. Idk how that’s fair but if this is something that should occur, rethink that. I’m not asking for compensation but please just fix that so it can’t happen again cause it’s really really dumb and ridiculous that you guys think I could win a 1v5 as a tank.
Assuming you are not a leaver, this is more likely to happen to the other team than yours. Over time you will get more free wins due to leavers than losses.

Why? At the end of the day leavers will not affect your season negatively. There are suspension rules in place, there is nothing else Blizzard can do - people have bad internet and others don’t care, that will never change.

because if it was a 1 off, its just a waste of 10 mins, but to expect more and more on the other team, to balance out, wastes hours of you time.
any other option is better, this is literally the worst option
and who TF takes OW2 ranked serious in this way? i would rather lose 3 tiers and have good games than chase a number that means nothing.

I think you will find a high percentage of Comp players play for the challenge of tying to rank up.
It was never about the actual rank, we are told that the higher rank you get, The better quality games you get, but thats not true either. Same throwers cheaters leavers and rambo players.
We chase quality games, not rank. Sadly, a lot of players get neither.

The OP was complaining about losing points so I was explaining over time they would be no worse off from that perspective. I can also assure you a lot of people care about achieving a higher rank (new shiny badge).
this explains why i find so many stupid people in my games…
they higher you get, the exact same everything gets, except you actually die for being stupid.
